The Extended Care Program, ECP, is a methadone maintenance program that provides long-term outpatient care for addicted people who require ongoing treatment in order to become or remain free from the use of heroin and other opioids. The goals of the program are to help patients maintain abstinence from illicit drug use while addressing their medical, mental health, family, interpersonal, housing, legal, and vocational needs.
Responsibilities include individual counseling, group therapy, treatment planning, vocational services, and case management.
Position is part of team practice model which also includes internal medicine, pediatrics, nursing & psychiatric services. Academic affiliation with New York Medical College.

LCSW/LMSW required. Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred. CSAC or CASACT preferred.
