Local real estate sales & property management company searching for a new leasing agent/ administrative assistant. We are a non-traditional real estate company. Think of us more like a real estate investment company. Our main goal is to help our already in place and growing group of investors. We help them buy, maintain & protect their investments. At this position, you can earn while you learn in the leasing and property management business. We are in need of a backup property manager and an administration person to help in the management of residential properties. We are looking to add an individual to help our main leasing agent, rent company properties, input and handle rent checks & distribute rent proceeds, monitor property water bills and other utilities, monitor rent payments, process eviction letters, monitor eviction outcomes and work with our attorney to process eviction complaints in court with Tenants and much more. We also do a ton of land contracts and we monitor these too. We basically need someone who can shadow and backup our current leasing agent and help with the day to day activities of our leasing and property management division of our company. This motivated individual should have close to or all of the following characteristics:-Able to work independently-Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office, Excel and Word-Excellent communication skills-Excellent organization and follow through-Reliable transportation is a must.-Strong attention to detail-Good written and phone etiquette.-Must keep deadlines, work well without direct supervision.-Great People Skills -Great Phone Skills -Local MLS Software Experience Preferred-Adapts Well to Frequent Changes -Great Follow Up Skills -Self-Motivator -Thick Skinned (This can be a stressful environment, that can be demanding)-Any Leasing Experience a Plus-Active Real Estate License Required, but may work with the right person soon to be licensed. Position is commission + hourly pay.Training will be provided.This would be a part-time or full time position, but consistant schedule needed if part time.
