We are small but we are growing rapidly and to keep up with our growth, we are hiring a candidate to be Assistant to the CEO and oversee all admin, order processing and shipping, marketing support to our Brand Managers and oversee our partners and events . The position is initially part time (15-20 hours per week) but is expected to be full time within 2-3 months. You MUST be a recent college graduate or be graduating in 2013 and be excited about working for a startup and making a difference in the world. You must be high energy, able to multi-task, detail oriented, able to work with limited supervision and be hard working. It would also be helpful if you loved running and fitness since these are the markets we focus on Job DescriptionSome of the many tasks include:1. Provide marketing and admin support to the CEO 2. Provide marketing and admin support to our Brand Managers by sending letters and samples to bloggers, athletes, media, trainers, race directors, agents, teams and others who have requested product samples for review purposes3. Create and mail all our special gift packs that are sent to special events and partners4. Process and ship all customer orders5. Oversee our databases and update our excel lists6. Manage our national partnerships including race directors nationwide7. Track our partner sales and provide them with product and marketing support8. Oversee the logistics of all our events9. Respond to customer inquiries10. Create weekly and monthly sales reports for our team meetingsWe are busy and you will be too so you must be able to learn quickly, be detailed oriented and be comfortable multi tasking.Job Requirements: • MUST be a recent college graduate or graduating spring 2013• MUST be in the Boston area• Have proven organizational, admin and business skills and be detail oriented• Be hard working, able to work with minimal supervision and be 100% reliable• Have drive, ambition and the desire to be a rock star in our company• Be experienced in word, excel and outlook and be able to do mail merge for letters, emails etc.• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal• Prior experience in an admin/marketing support role would be highly beneficial• Social media skills including Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram• Be able to start part time immediately (15-20 hours/week) and be able to transition into a full time position within 2-3 months• Be excited by working at a startup and making a difference in the world• Able to take initiative to improve all aspects of our business• Have a "roll up your sleeves" attitude and be ready to take news tasks on as they developReporting/Work EnvironmentYou will report directly to the CEO and will work out of our startup offices in Beacon Hill (we are anticipating moving into our down town offices by summer/fall 2013). To start, compensation is paid weekly and on an hourly basis. We are only looking for candidates who want to roll up their sleeves, work hard, help others be healthy and can rapidly take on more responsibility and grow with us. Of course, we want you to have some fun too! This is an entry level position that will quickly turn into a full time position for the right candidate. Once you have been with us six months, there will be unlimited opportunities for other career advancement.Compensation and Time CommitmentThis is an entry level position that can rapidly grow to a senior position for the right candidate. The entry level pay scale is $10/hour and, based on your successful performance, we anticipate moving you into a full time salaried position by June 2013. To start with us, we require you to work 3 days/week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) for a total of 15-20 hours/week. As our sales grow, we will increase your hours until the position is full time.
