The Pink Pig is the newest restaurant from award-winning "Pastry Queen" cookbook author and Chef Rebecca Rather. The Pink Pig offers locally sourced farm-to-fork fare in the idyllic Texas Hill Country's burgeoning wine region. Set in a historic train depot off US 290, we are serving lunch and dinner with scratch baked goods.Ideal candidates would have:Prior food experience, ability to multi-task, flexibility with scheduling and hours.KITCHEN MANAGER: Executive Chef with experience managing a kitchen and food service staff. The successful candidate will be a working chef, schedule and supervise cooks, manage food inventory, order food supplies for menus and provide an excellent dining experience.. PASTRY COOK: Candidates must have formal pastry training or prior experience and enjoy the basic side of baking. We are well known for our pastries and have a large following, so must be able to work and produce quickly. LINE COOKS: Must be able to work in a fast paced kitchen, must be able to lead others and help uphold standards and procedure. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. EXPO: Must be able to work under pressure.
