Job summaryThe Implementation Administrator is responsible for managing implementation processes, projects and transition of client accounts to the Special Markets team members. The Implementation Administrator works closely with internal sales staff, brokers, external clients and internal departments.Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Manages implementation of new ASO groups post sale to inception.• Provides the organization with business, process and technical analysis in support of client needs.• Facilitates internal and external client meetings.• Creates, distributes and manages project schedules and timelines.• Documents plan requirements, ensures accurate implementation of plan, and completes implementation checklists• Drives team efforts and results to meet deliverables and timeline expectations• Sets up the new group with the various carriers and initiates new group set up within the internal proprietary systems.• Responsible for reconciliation and auditing of client benefit files • Supports internal sales staff when necessary including occasional travel.• Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and advanced experience in the use of Microsoft Excel• Knowledge of employee benefit products and benefit plan administration• Strong communication skills -- written, verbal and listening• Excellent organizational and time management skills• Ability to explain and understand complex concepts• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesEducation & Experience• 2 years of experience in benefits administration• 2 years college level education preferred• 2 years of employee benefits experience • Previous experience in project management Licenses/Certifications• Group 1 insurance license preferred; must be eligible for licensing within first 90 days of employmentPhysical Demands• Sitting for extended periods of time• Little physical effort required• Repetitive motionDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position.
